wind energy system with peak power greater than 10 kW.
The 10 kW Bergey Excel-S wind turbine does
qualify. |

You must be a customer of one of the eleven
investor-owned utilities in Illinois. Customers of municipal electric
systems or rural cooperatives do not qualify because those utilities are not
paying into the funding program. |

Grants are awarded based upon approval of an
application, which is in the form of a short proposal. Applications can be
submitted at any time. We can assist you in

Program. Funding comes from a customer surcharge under Illinois’s utility

from 6 to 10 cents per kWh, are above the national average. |
